His life now dedicated to the arts, Mike began his career as an ice cream man in the late sixties and has worked in nuclear power plants, recording studios, punk rock discos, bar rooms, and oil refineries.  Born in Delaware, Mike now resides with his wife in the bucolic countryside of southeastern Pennsylvania and uses everything he has ever seen or heard for the material of novelistic endeavors.

Born on the Jersey shore at the end of WWII, Jim was educated in North Carolina and began his career in Delaware.  Besides writing fiction, Jim has been a forensic chemist, an environmental chemist, a Peace Corps volunteer in west Africa, and now models complex processes on computers.  He lives with his wife and three cats in the small west Michigan town of Caledonia.

About Us

The many interests of the authors lead them to explore a variety of genres, styles, and formats — see project list — in their quest to creatively string prose in a manner conducive to the luring of readers to their works.

Dela-where?

Though both Jim and Mike live elsewhere now, they both grew up, came of age, and lived for decades in Delaware and hold a special fondness for this quirky oasis in the midst of the east-coast megalopolis.  Basing most of their tales in Delaware gives their work a colloquial quality that brings the reader a real flavor of life in this cultural preserve and fosters a sense of comfortable hominess that makes transparent the divide between the reader and the story — be it the Delaware of today, the past, the future, or the imagination (see ‘Dela-Facts’ page).
